North Carolina Budget and Tax Center (BTC):
Part of the North Carolina Justice Center, the Budget and Tax Center's
mission is to produce "timely, accessible and credible research and
analysis... to assure that essential state government services are
adequately funded and that the state’s tax burden falls fairly upon all
North Carolinians." Visitors to the site can review reports and
analysis of tax issues for the state.

This is the home page for the Department. In addition to online tax
forms, the website has tax oriented resources for individuals,
businesses, and tax preparers.
