Homegrown/Handmade Art Roads and Farm Trails of North Carolina:
This project, sponsored by the North Carolina Arts Council and the
North Carolina Cooperative Extension, lists a plethora of events,
activities, and locations that showcase North Carolina's rich artistic
and agricultural heritage. Visitors to the site can browse several
pre-planned "trails" that will help them to plan visits to the state.
The trails include art galleries, horse farms, “u-pick” farming
operations, locally owned restaurants that feature North Carolina food
