Searching for Books?

You may search the library catalog for items housed in Joyner Library.  You may search by word or phrase, author, title, or subject.

Conduct a subject search in the library catalog for those subject headings which are appropriate for your class by using the "subject" search box, or if subject is not available, you may have to choose it from the drop menu.  For example:

  • hospitality
  • leadership

Also, try a keyword search such as:

  • evidence based business
  • sustainable tourism

In order to find the book on the shelf, you will need the TITLE, CALL NUMBER, and LOCATION. For more information on finding books, please visit our Library 101 tutorial.
