Why use reference books like encyclopedias? They help you choose a topic for a paper, they help with search terms/synonyms for your library research, and they provide you with definitions for technical terms or Spanish words may not recognize.

What? You will need a call number to find the book.
How? Reference books cannot be checked out. You may use them in the library.
Why? This is so that all students in this class and others can use them.
When? The library is open 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.
