You can create or sign into your ORCID account by signing in with your ECU credentials. Please follow the steps below to login.
STEP 1: Go to the ORCID website: https://orcid.org/
STEP 2: Click on Sign In/Register link in the upper right corner of the page.
STEP 3: Click on Access through your institution button located below the Sign In.
STEP 4: Search for East Carolina University in the Organization's name box. Click on the Continue button.
STEP 5: Sign in with your Pirate ID and Password.
You have three types of privacy settings for your ORCID profile. You can customize the privacy settings for each section of your ORCID profile.
Public: visible by everyone
Trusted Parties: visible to parties that you authorize and hidden to others
Private: visible only to you
