Vireo is a paper management systems originally designed for theses and dissertations by the University of Texas. The Vireo software is a closed system that allows paper submissions to be reviewed and approved by Honors College administrators and advisors. Once papers have been approved, they are added to ScholarShip, ECU's Institutional Repository.
If a student adds you as a mentor, you will receive an email when the paper is submitted to Vireo. Click on the link within the email to review the submission. At the end of the submission, you will see the box below. Please select Approve for each section: embargo, access, and application before submitting your approval.
If you have changes for the submission, please select reject for the appropriate area (embargo, access or application). Please include a reason for rejecting the submission in the text box.
