How to Use this Guide

This Literature research guide will help you locate resources across many different areas of literary study. The guidelines below will direct you where to begin.

Refer to the Articles and Criticism tab for topics about:

  • General or introductory topics
  • British and American literatures
  • Genres like the poem, novel, or short story
  • Literary criticism and theory

Refer to the Medieval/Renaissance tab for topics about:

  • Literature written between 1100-1650
  • Authors like Chaucer and Shakespeare

  • Asian literatures
