Locating Citation Information

The following tutorial will help you locate citation information in order to create a References List. While clicking through the tutorial, please write down the bits of information for each of the types of resources so that you may construct the citation in the continued tutorial in the box below. Please note that not every article, book, and website will have all of the information in the exact same place, however, this is a good start to help you find citation elements.

Constructing a Citation

Now that you have the different elements of a citation written down, try to create citations for each of the following different kinds of materials. Here is the format:

Article

Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (Date of publication). Title of article. Title of Journal, volume number (issue). doi:0000000/000000000000
