Here is how to format some of the most common types of citations in APA style.

 Article

Author, A. A., Author, B. B., & Author, C. C. (Year). Title of article. Title of Periodical, volume number(issue number), pages. https://doi.org/xx.xxx/yyyy

Website

Last name, F. M. (Year, Month Date). Title of page. Site name. URL

Book

Last name, F. M. (Year of publication). Title of work: Capital letter also for subtitle. Publisher Name. DOI (if available)

Government Report 

"Government Reports" Include technical and research reports, census statistics (in PDF format or in print), reports of task forces, etc. Format these reports as you would a book.  If there is no personal author, use the organization name.  

Last name, F. M., & Last name, F. M. (Year). Title of report. Organization Name. URL
