EDUCATION LAW

  • Education Law in North Carolina  Produced by the Prinicipals' Executive Program at the University of North Carolina, this database contains up-to-date information concerning federal and state laws and court cases that affect North Carolina's public schools. 

  • School Law Bulletin NoCar K 23 C33, most recent issues located in the North Carolina Collection’s periodicals area.  Published quarterly since 1970 by the School of Government, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the School Law Bulletin is written by school attorneys for school administrators and board members. Each issue contains two or three articles on subjects that directly affect the operation of schools. Each article analyzes a school law issue and recommends how the governing board or administrator should handle it. "Clearinghouse" is a regular Bulletin feature that digests recent state and federal court decisions and state attorney general's opinions in the area of school law.  A cumulative annual index is provided.

ENVIRONMENTAL LAW

Environmental and Conservation Law Bulletin NoCar KFN 7754 E58, most recent issues located in the North Carolina Collection’s current periodicals area. Published (irregularly) since 1996 by the School of Government, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Environmental and Conservation Law Bulletin covers topics ranging from solid waste to environmental health, and from natural resources to conservation law.
