 Joyner Library holds many books about Archeology. Among these books is X Marks the Spot: The Archeology of Piracy, co-edited by East Carolina University Anthropology  faculty member, Charles R. Ewen

2. Finding Archaeology Books in the Library

In the Library of Congress call number system, Archaeology may be found in the CC range.

3. Locating the Call Number

In order to find a book on the shelf, you will need to find it's call number. This may be done either by using OneSearch and searching by the title of the work, the author, or some other unique aspect. The call number for this book is CC77 .U5 E88 2016 and its record is located here. In the record, one may also find the status of the book, the collection it is in and other useful information for research and citation purposes.

4. Using Floor Maps

By checking Joyner Library's floor map page, you can locate the proper collection and location of the book for which you are searching. Archaeology is located in the CC part of the LOC system, so it should be located on the second floor of the library.
