Ask the Expert



If you need to locate an expert on a topic, you may want to consider three places to find them: Organizations, Associations, and the links in the Experts box to the right. The Associations links are on the Career tab.

Finding Organizations

Google's Advanced Search capacity can help you identify organizations that advocate a position on a societal problem. These organizations are also called 'voluntary responses.'  Many, though not all, have a ".org" domain as part of their website address.

In Google, try using the limit function and combine it with your societal problem:



Remember, whatever you find on the web -- evaluate it for credibility, authoritativeness, and viewpoint.
