3D Printing: Submit Print Request

A guide to 3D printing at Joyner Library.

Announcement!

The online print request form is for Joyner Library's 3D printing service for members of the ECU community (faculty/staff/students). Our 3D printing service includes the following steps: reviewing, preparing, and printing.

We now require that all patrons submit a print request prior to printing in the 3D Print Studio. Once your request has been received, a staff member will contact you regarding the time and cost estimate of your print. If there are any issues with your file, a staff member will contact you regarding your model. If major issues are identified, a staff member will contact you about scheduling a consultation regarding your print.

3D printing with generic filaments (PETG, PLA, t-glase) costs $2 for the first hour of printing and $1 for each additional hour. Specialty filaments (glow-in-the-dark, nylon, TPU, ASA, carbon fiber, PVA) cost $3 for the first hour of printing and $1 for each additional hour.

If you would like to learn more about 3D printing or the machines and software available in the 3D Print Studio, please schedule a consultation with a staff member.
