ULAC is composed of the directors of the 17 University Libraries and a representative from the UNC System Office. This guide covers ULAC's mission, vision, committees, roster, etc.

Introduction

ULAC is composed of the directors of the 17 University Libraries and a representative from the UNC System Office. The current Chair is Sarah Falls, University Librarian at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Wanda Brown, Director of the C.G. O'Kelly Library at Winston-Salem State University, is Vice Chair/Chair Elect and Lucy B. Holman, University Librarian at University of North Carolina Wilmington, is Secretary. Anne Cooper Moore, Dean of Libraries at University of North Carolina Charlotte, is the immediate past Chair. In November of 2018, ULAC completed a strategic planning process, including a playbook for success and objectives for 2018-2022. Both documents are available in PDF below. A Google spreadsheet that includes progress reports is also available.

Meeting Dates

 ULAC met on June 10, 2022 at the UNC System Office in Chapel Hill. The next face-to-face meeting is scheduled for October 21, 2022 in Winston-Salem. In addition, ULAC conducts virtual hour-long meetings regularly.
