Scholarly Communication for Librarians: Home

This guide contains information and resources shared at the Scholarly Communication Boot Camp sessions.

The Scholarly Communication Boot Camps started in 2015 to introduce liaisons at Joyner and Laupus to scholarly communication concepts with which they may not have been very familiar.  Over the semesters, we have accumulated a nice collection of teaching materials used one way or another in the Boot Camps.  To make things easier for liaison librarians, we’ve gathered those materials in one place, here in this LibGuide.  While we are aware that most scholarly communication concepts need to be practiced to be truly understood, this collection provides resources for librarians, especially for new liaisons.

Currently, we hold at least two Scholarly Communication Boot Camp sessions for librarians during the academic year.
