Wetland Type Maps
Scope and Content: Developed by the N.C. Division of Coastal Management, these color-coded maps reflect different types of wetlands in counties located in Eastern North Carolina. They are based on data derived from National Wetlands Inventory maps, satellite imagery, and other sources. Scales of components of the data range from 1:100,000 to 1:24,000.  Advisory in nature, the maps are not intended to be used as a substitute for on-site determination of jurisdictional wetlands.

Access: The 4 maps are arranged alphabetically by county name. Explanatory notes filed with the maps include definitions of wetland types.
