One Search

One Search is the main discovery service at Joyner Library.  It searches the complete print catalog, as well as a majority of the ebooks and articles available in the library databases.  Many student researchers begin their searches in One Search.

Database List

ECU Libraries subscribes to over 450 different databases at any given time.  Databases are for the most part specific to areas of study and in most cases are a terrific way to search the scholarly literature in your area.

Reserve a Study Room

Individual and group study rooms are located throughout the library.  Some rooms include large monitors while other include whiteboards.  Click on the link to reserve a room.

Ask a Librarian

Whether you are having trouble starting your research-based assignment, choosing the right database for your project, or simply have a technical issue retrieving the full text of an article, librarians are available to assist by phone, chat, email, and at the research desk on the library's first floor.

Borrow Equipment

You can check out laptops, phone chargers, cameras, tripods, microphones, video cameras, calculators, and much more at the circulation desk at Joyner Library.  Click the link to see what equipment is currently available.
